This Privacy Policy explains how Elaborapp Co., Ltd. ("we", "us", or "our") processes data when you use the todayOS iPhone or iPad app, Apple Watch app, Mac app, widgets, notifications, and website.

Data We Process

• HealthKit data: depending on your authorization, todayOS reads activity energy, exercise time, stand data, steps, time in daylight, water intake, tooth brushing, workouts, mindfulness, sleep, and heart rate variability. todayOS may write water intake and tooth brushing records.
• Aggregated health data: to show consistent daily state across your devices, todayOS stores daily summaries, todayOS-created water/tooth brushing records, HealthKit export receipts, deletion tombstones, device identifiers, and update timestamps.
• Schedules and preferences: wake, wind down, sleep, meal, shower, custom schedule, goals, action preferences, notification settings, todayOS+ settings, user onboarding completion, and recent event timestamps.
• Location and weather: if you grant location permission, todayOS stores your current coordinates on device for sunrise/sunset, sky color, daylight, and weather features. Unless weather is enabled, todayOS uses location data only on your device. When weather is enabled, todayOS provides coordinates to Apple WeatherKit to get weather information and uses Apple MapKit to obtain a display location name; weather cache may include temperature, weather symbol, location name, fetch time, and an active weather alert's summary, source, region, severity, expiration time, and details link. If you enable Enhanced Movement Detection and grant Always Location permission, todayOS may receive larger-area location changes in the background and store the latest location sample, timestamp, and horizontal accuracy on device to reduce standing reminders while riding in a vehicle. This detection is not continuous location tracking and mainly triggers during larger movements.
• Screen usage ranges: where supported, todayOS may store minute-based device usage ranges to support sedentary, break, or relaxation prompts.
• Purchase data: todayOS uses RevenueCat to check todayOS+ entitlements, products, purchases, and restores. todayOS sets TelemetryDeck app and user identifiers as RevenueCat customer attributes so RevenueCat subscription events can be connected with TelemetryDeck analytics. Payments are processed by Apple; todayOS does not receive full payment card numbers.
• Analytics data: todayOS uses TelemetryDeck for product analytics in the app and on the website. Website analytics may include page views, referrer or UTM data, browser/device metadata, approximate country, and App Store badge or link click placement. RevenueCat subscription events may be sent to TelemetryDeck through the RevenueCat and TelemetryDeck integration. todayOS does not send HealthKit contents, precise location, full payment card numbers, or free-form Google Forms responses to TelemetryDeck.
• App cross-promotion data: the iOS app uses Kickstart Exchange to show app recommendations to free users. The SDK sends its API key, todayOS bundle identifier, platform, app and build versions, SDK version, development mode when applicable, and App Store storefront country. In shipping builds, it may transiently send a locally verified Apple-signed App Transaction so Kickstart Exchange can confirm a production app installation; Kickstart Exchange states that it immediately discards the signed JWS. The service records app-level advert delivery, impressions, clicks, and reports without associating them with a specific user or device. When you tap a recommendation, the SDK records the click and opens the advertised app's App Store page. That link may include the advertiser's App Store provider token and the KickstartExchange campaign token; Apple may provide privacy-protected campaign results to the advertiser, while Kickstart Exchange states that it does not receive those conversion details.
• Public beta form: if you choose to join the public beta through Google Forms, Google processes the information you submit under its own policies.

Where Data Is Stored

Data is stored on your device or Apple account, including HealthKit and iCloud. When iCloud sync is enabled, todayOS syncs summaries, preferences, and recent events. This data is processed by Apple's iCloud infrastructure and depends on your Apple ID and device settings.

How We Use Data

• To calculate the most relevant action for the current moment.
• To show action reminders on iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Mac, widgets, and notifications.
• To reduce standing reminders while you are likely riding in a vehicle.
• To sync preferences, schedules, and summaries across your own devices.
• To process todayOS+ purchases, restores, and entitlements.
• To show app recommendations to free iOS users and measure app-level advert delivery and interactions.
• To improve reliability, understand feature usage, and troubleshoot errors.

What We Do Not Do

• We do not sell your personal data.
• We do not use HealthKit data for advertising, data brokerage, or similar purposes.
• We do not send HealthKit contents, precise location, or full payment card numbers to TelemetryDeck.
• We do not send HealthKit contents or precise location to RevenueCat.
• We do not send HealthKit contents or precise location to Kickstart Exchange. Kickstart Exchange states that it does not track users or devices or build behavioral profiles.

Third-Party Services

todayOS uses Apple HealthKit, iCloud, WeatherKit, MapKit, UserNotifications, RevenueCat, TelemetryDeck, Kickstart Exchange, GitHub Pages, and Google Forms as needed. These services process data under their own policies. WeatherKit and MapKit are used for weather features when weather is enabled. RevenueCat supports subscriptions and entitlements; TelemetryDeck supports app and website analytics, including RevenueCat subscription event analysis through the RevenueCat and TelemetryDeck integration. Kickstart Exchange, operated by Hudson Heavy Industries Ltd, supports app cross-promotion for free iOS users; Cloudflare processes the connecting IP address as an ordinary part of delivering Exchange requests and artwork. See the Kickstart Exchange privacy notice. Google Forms is used only when you submit the public beta form.

Your Controls

• You can adjust or revoke HealthKit permissions in iOS Settings or the Health app.
• You can disable location, notifications, and iCloud in system settings.
• You can turn off Enhanced Movement Detection in todayOS Location & Weather settings, or revoke Always Location permission in system settings.
• You can disable iCloud sync in todayOS+ settings.
• Users with todayOS+ enabled do not see Kickstart Exchange banners.
• You can view or delete health data written by todayOS in Apple Health.
• You can delete the app to remove local data; data retained by iCloud, Apple, RevenueCat, or Google may require each service's own deletion process.

Retention

todayOS keeps data only as needed to provide features. Some state is overwritten by newer data, Enhanced Movement Detection keeps only the latest significant location change sample and clears it when the feature is disabled or Always Location permission is unavailable, screen usage ranges are short-lived, and purchase or entitlement records may be retained by Apple and RevenueCat for subscription, tax, refund, and fraud-prevention purposes. Kickstart Exchange states that it keeps app-level advert delivery and interaction records for approximately 30 days; daily app-to-app statistics may be retained without a fixed deletion date and do not identify individual users or devices.

Children

todayOS is not designed for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data, please contact us.

Updates

We may update this policy when features, data flows, or legal requirements change. Material changes will be communicated through the website or app where appropriate.

• 位置與天氣：如果你允許定位權限，todayOS 會在裝置上保存目前座標，用於日出日落、天色、日照與天氣顯示。定位資料預設只會在裝置本地使用；只有在你開啟天氣功能時，todayOS 才會將座標提供給 Apple WeatherKit 取得天氣資訊，並使用 Apple MapKit 取得顯示用地點名稱。天氣快取可能包含溫度、天氣符號、地點名稱、查詢時間，以及有效天氣警報的摘要、來源、地區、嚴重程度、到期時間與詳細資料連結。若你啟用加強移動偵測並授權永遠允許定位，todayOS 可能在背景接收較大範圍的位置變化，並在裝置本地保存最近一筆位置樣本、時間與水平精度，用來減少搭乘交通工具時提醒起身的情況。此偵測不是持續定位，主要在較大範圍移動時觸發。

我們不會做的事

• 不販售你的個人資料。
• 不把 HealthKit 資料用於廣告、資料仲介或類似用途。
• 不把 HealthKit 內容、精確位置或完整付款卡號傳給 TelemetryDeck。
• 不把 HealthKit 內容或精確位置傳給 RevenueCat。
• 不把 HealthKit 內容或精確位置傳給 Kickstart Exchange。Kickstart Exchange 表示不會追蹤使用者或裝置，也不會建立行為側寫。

第三方服務

todayOS 依功能需要使用 Apple HealthKit、iCloud、WeatherKit、MapKit、UserNotifications、RevenueCat、TelemetryDeck、Kickstart Exchange、GitHub Pages 與 Google Forms。這些服務會依各自政策處理資料。開啟天氣功能時會使用 WeatherKit 與 MapKit 處理天氣相關資料。RevenueCat 用於訂閱與購買權益；TelemetryDeck 用於 app 與網站分析，包含透過 RevenueCat 與 TelemetryDeck 整合分析 RevenueCat 訂閱事件。Kickstart Exchange 由 Hudson Heavy Industries Ltd 營運，用於向免費 iOS 使用者進行 app 交叉推廣；Cloudflare 會在傳遞 Exchange 請求與圖片時，依一般網路服務需要處理連線 IP 位址。詳見 Kickstart Exchange 隱私權聲明。Google Forms 僅在你主動填寫公開測試表單時使用。

你的控制權

• 你可以在 iOS 設定或健康 App 中調整或撤回 HealthKit 權限。

• 你可以在 todayOS 的定位與天氣設定中關閉加強移動偵測，或在系統設定中撤回永遠允許定位。
• 你可以在 todayOS+ 設定中關閉 iCloud 同步。
• 已啟用 todayOS+ 的使用者不會看到 Kickstart Exchange banner。
• 你可以在 Apple Health 中檢視或刪除 todayOS 寫入的健康資料。
• 你可以刪除 app 以移除本機資料；iCloud、Apple、RevenueCat 或 Google 保留的資料可能需要依各服務的流程處理。

保留期間

todayOS 只在提供功能需要時保留資料。部分狀態會被最新資料覆蓋，加強移動偵測只保留最近一筆較大範圍位置變化樣本，關閉功能或失去永遠允許定位時會清除；螢幕使用區段有短期有效期限，購買與權益資料會依 Apple 與 RevenueCat 的訂閱、稅務、退款與防詐需求保留。Kickstart Exchange 表示會保留 app 層級的廣告傳遞與互動紀錄約 30 天；每日 app 對 app 統計資料可能不設固定刪除期限，且不會識別個別使用者或裝置。

兒童

todayOS 不是為 13 歲以下兒童設計。若你認為兒童提供了個人資料，請聯絡我們處理。

政策更新

當功能、資料流程或法規需求改變時，我們可能更新本政策。重大變更會以網站或 app 內適當方式告知。
